"Ego and Projection"

In this session, Bartholomew discussed concepts related to guilt, the ego, and the divine. Bartholomew elaborated on the difference between projection and extension, explaining that projection is an ego-driven act that sustains the illusion of separateness, while extension is an expression of divine love and interconnectedness.

He stressed the non-evil intention of the ego, as it merely performs its function of reinforcing separation, yet emphasized that living by ego's delusions leads to restlessness and unfulfilled desires.

Bartholomew reminded us that divine power is omnipresent, and individuals should prioritize aligning with this power over engaging in ego-driven pursuits. He illustrated how moments of extension allow for genuine joy and connection, and encouraged making conscious choices to join the divine stream of consciousness that offers bliss, love, and true happiness.

Furthermore, he discussed the misconception surrounding human love, clarifying that much of what is labeled as love is predestined recognition of shared history rather than true love, which is selflessly serving the other.

He concluded by highlighting the limitations of intellect without intuition, explaining that true enlightenment comes from intuitive knowledge, with figures like Einstein exemplifying the harmony of intellect and intuition.
